Membership requirements
Student Membership is available to persons undertaking undergraduate studies in any discipline and persons undertaking postgraduate studies in translation or interpreting.
Application process
You may apply for Student membership at any point during the subscription year which runs from 1 June to 31 May. The annual subscription (to 31 May) for Student Membership is €30. Subscription from 1 December to 31 May costs €15.
If your application is approved, you will be contacted about payment of the annual subscription. Please do not make a payment prior to this. Once payment has been received, your details will be included in the ITIA mailing list.
Application documents
We are now accepting applications by email to info@translatorsassociation.ie. Please save all documents in one file (if possible) and name the file by your surname e.g. Surname_student. Alternatively, please name separate files as detailed below.
When sending in your application, please ensure the following documents are included:
- Full and up-to-date CV (saved as surname_CV)
- Signed Declaration, confirming adherence to the ITIA Code of Practice and Professional Ethics (saved as surname_declaration)
- Completed ITIA student membership application form (saved as surname_application)
- Proof of current registration as a student (saved as surname_registration)
